Rental Conditions
Prestige Drive Ltd require a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. The balance of your reservation will be due 72 hours before your booking unless by prior arrangement.
Late drop offs are charged at $50 per hour. More than 2 hours late will constitute being charged for another days rental unless by prior approval from Prestige Drive Ltd.
Excessive wear or misuse of the vehicle causing any damages or repair costs will be charged to the hirer.
If the vehicle is returned in an unreasonably dirty condition (stains, food, rubbish, spills) then any applicable grooming fees will be charged to the hirer.
Strictly no smoking, vaping or pets in our vehicles. Grooming fees will be charged to the hirer to return the car to its original condition.
No off-road use is permitted with our vehicles. This includes 4X4 tracks, beaches and unmarked roads.
Please return our vehicles with a full tank of petrol or diesel. Failure to do so will incur a $99 fee on top of the fuel cost to return the tank to full. Be aware which type of fuel the vehicle uses and use the correct type. If for any reason you are unsure please call 021 273 7483 to clarify. Charges will apply to drain the fuel tank and refill if the incorrect fuel is used.
There is a 200km travel allowance per day per vehicle. For rental periods of 7 days or over there is an unlimited travel allowance.
Bond / Deposit
We provide full insurance cover for drivers over 25 with a $5,000 excess.
Prestige Drive Ltd will pre-authorise a $5,000 value to your supplied credit card for the insurance excess. This will be released no more than 48 hours after your vehicle is returned.
For an extra daily fee this excess can be reduced to $1,500.
Pick Up / Drop Off
Auckland Airport vehicle collection $199 (covers both vehicle collection and drop off).
CBD / Hotel vehicle collection $199 (covers both vehicle collection and drop off).
HQ Mt Albert pick up and drop off at no fee.
License Conditions
Drivers must be 25 years of age or over and hold a valid full NZ drivers license. For overseas licenses please contact us directly to ensure our insurances will cover you.
Insurance Claims
In the event of an accident requiring an insurance claim, the excess amount will be held until the claims process has been completed.
If you (the hirer) are found to not be liable, the insurance excess amount will be refunded to your credit card when the other party has accepted liability and the insurance claim has been approved.
Cancellations & Refunds
72 hours notice is required in the event of cancellation of a booking. If we do not receive written confirmation then the full booking amount will be charged to the supplied credit card.
Refunds will be at the discretion of Prestige Drive Ltd unless dictated otherwise by NZ law.
Fines / Traffic Violations
Drivers license and credit card details will be held on file for 30 days in case of any traffic infringements. These will be transferred to the hirers name or on-charged to your supplied credit card with the addition of a $99 administration fee.
North Island toll roads have instructions on where and how to pay online. You have 7 days to pay this before a toll road notice is sent to us. If we receive a toll road fine this will be charged to your credit card alongside a $99 administration fee.
